About Me
I spent most of my childhood in southern Africa and it is that continent’s dramatic scenery and wildlife that has given me a lifelong affinity with nature and animals that is reflected in my work.
After returning to the UK I gained an honours degree in Fashion/Textiles from Manchester Polytechnic (now Manchester Metropolitan University), concentrating on printed design. I then worked for 5 years in the textile trade before going freelance.
Since then I’ve gained a wealth of experience working on a wide range of products, from household and fashion textiles to ceramics; from greeting cards to children’s colouring books.
I am known for my versatility and skill at answering a brief to tight deadlines with a reputation for creative designs inspired by fruit, flowers and wildlife. All my work is hand crafted, either as watercolour or cut paper creations.
